Fingerprints have general ridge patterns that permit them to
be systematically classified. There are three classes that all fingerprints
can be divided in to:
Loops-
Loop type fingerprints account for 60-65 percent of all
fingerprints. They can be identified by having ridges entering from one side of the
finger, recurving and exiting from the same side as it entered.
