This morning Sila needed to work on her homework and, so of course Emma wanted to get out her writing workbook and practice writing letters. Then Sila was brushing her hair so Emma wanted her hair brushed too, but only if Sila would do it. I think there maybe a pattern developing. Fortunately I think that Sila is a pretty good roll model for Emma. The funny thing is how Silka and Lizzie try to do the same things as the older kids. Including Silka wanting to brush Lars’s practically non-existent hair.
Silla, Emma, Lizzie and I hopped in the car and headed over to Telsa’s. We then drove over the old steam train that travels Banholm-Banholm Harbor-Banholm-Maribo. The train is run by a bunch of volunteer enthusiasts and you can tell they like to make stops just for the fun of it, especially since the trip from Banholm to Banholm harbor is a trip of about 200 yards yet has a schedule. The train travels through fields and beech wood forests. We rode first class thanks to a ticket that Carston had received for driving horses at the celebration of the trains 125th year. The girls had a great time alternating playing and looking out the windows. The train runs one way so we were meet in Maribo by Knut and Carston who took us back to our cars.
