More excerepts from my emails to Karen:
Hey little,
Today Sila's class was taking a field trip to the open air museum in Maribo, so we decided to head in to see what it was like. Lizzie woke up around 7:00 and generally made a nuisance of herself while Emma and I tried to sleep till around 7:30. We got up had breakfast, cereal, showered and got dressed. I hadn't really eaten yet so we headed into Maribo to the bakery. We got two different kinds of pastries and a liter of milk. Emma and Lizzie started to eat in the back while we drove to Telsa's. I ate my pastry and drank the milk while your mom got ready to go, your dad decided to stay home and weed the vegetable plot. He's been working on that the last couple of days.

We arrived at the museum around 10:30, when we went to get our tickets we heard the students having their lunch in another room. We pocked our heads in to say hi and then we to explore the center. There are ~6 different buildings including a schoolhouse from 1813. But the highlight of the day had to be when Sila's came out and started to play the different children's games they had from the 1800's. Emma was cautious at first and we followed them around for the first few games but then she ran over to Sila and joined in, Lizzie was interested a little but the chickens were her first love. We went back to Telsa's around 1:00 and had some lunch. Silka was there as she was a little under the weather and so stayed home from daycare.
We watched some of the special features from Spirit and Lizzie and I took a little nap. After that we headed out to Inger's (Carston's mom) house for dinner. We had a great time the girls, all four, were the best they had been playing together.
They all played in the yard and ate well, Inger made hotdogs, bless her! Then back to Ida's for bed. I decided to try a movie and it worked like a charm. We got back to the house around 8:00 and then to our room for a showing of Monsters Inc. Lizzie fell asleep during the credits and Emma shortly after that.
